Red headings are open to draw, yellow headings are reserved or in-progress, and green headings have already been finished by someone. (As of this writing, only characters under red headings have info of them because I'm prioritizing the blorbos that need to be made. The rest will be filled out eventually!)
You can scroll through the images horizontally. Within unfinished characters, images outlined in gold are images of the actual character - however they may be outdated or require more detail. If a character has no gold-border images (or no images at all) or if I think the images are too simple or outdated, I will draw a reference of them for you ASAP once you've decided you want to draw them.

If you would like you can use this information to style your sprite off the existing sprites of the listed characters to create some kind of visual consistency, but this isn't required!

Alec used to think he was one of the coolest kids in the world. His parents were rich and like, super spies or something? Being taught things like how to fire a gun and ride a motorcycle while still a teenager made him consider himself a future action hero. But his worldview tilted when he chased after the girl he was crushing on to an alternate world called "Xalcus", a place where virtually everyone was some kind of hyper-competent sorcerer that could fling energy balls and spells like it was nobodies business. A lot of things happened while he tried to make it work there: his crush drifted apart from him because she was busy with some superhero destiny, a literal goddess of "love" or "life" or whatever used his DNA to create crazy superhuman kids... Overwhelmed by this life, he retreated back to Earth in an attempt to return to his old life and forget about that girl he liked. But a couple decades later and the supernatural still seems to haunt him whether he likes it or not...

In a world where girls awaken mystical powers when they come of age, Kassandra hoped the transformation would cure her muteness and overall frail and illness-prone body. However, shortly before her eighteenth birthday, she stumbled into a spacetime rift in which the journey robbed her of her life. Fortunately, she wound up in a world called "Xalcus", where the landscape's powerful energies allowed her (and other spirits) to continue living a somewhat normal existence on its mortal plane. Accepting her fate and undergoing the tutalige of a local warrior to learn magic of her own, Kassandra experienced years of adventures on Xalcus (and another strange world called "Earth") that were filled with fun, drama, and romance. Somehow she even became a literal goddess of wind? So um, happy ending I guess!

long story short this character is completely ripped off of someone who wrote a ttyd fanfic on gamefaqs about a cyborg yoshi who was a plant by the x-nauts. this story no longer exists so if you are the original author or know them PLEASE contact me your story changed my life

Xion

my original interpretation of this character from 2009. note the split down the middle

a fusion between two deities: charon, the deity of light + xia, the deity of dark
these two deities were so sloppy makeout gay that they fused in order to be together Forever
as a result, their form appears half-and-half, with the appearances of both deities appearing mashed together
literally nothing matters to them except their happiness together, meaning they do not care if they cause harm to other people - including their deities siblings and the mortals they created that worship them
the act of fusing magic is meant to be a very intimate thing so they are in a perpetual state of insanity and ecstacy
the gimmick of this character is that their appearance depends on the eye of the beholder, so i would like the artist to have full creative freedom over their design based on what YOU think a deity of light+dark would look like!
since this character is a fusion of two, i would really like it if you could make sprites for the original forms of charon and xia as well! (they will be treated as minor characters so they only need one pose each)

after being taken in by Melody, she was taught to see into the future - giving her the gift of sight, but only of what's about to come and not what's in front of her right now
with her incredible latent powers, she travels spacetime as a fortune teller either on her lonesome or briefly accompanied by her daughter
she is also the legal founder and owner of a sanctuary in a certain world for lost and endangered multiverse travelers, however due to her disability she leave all that management to her employees
she's perpetually calm and wears an all-knowing gentle smile
she has no schemes or ulterior motives. she merely travels to oversee the passage of fate and lend small words of encouragement when needed

leader of the revolution; a highly respected person
they natively have Time powers but they have additional powers bestowed upon them from an otherworldly spirit god
because of these otherworldly powers, after winning the revolution, they were drawn to the other world with the goal of quelling the discourse there
although her goal is to give power and voices to the underpriviliged, she's not against starting beef with children to reach that goal
i'm trying so hard to change this but she's very "what if everything about jeanne bayonetta was the same except she wasn't a witch" because i just think she's so cool

design inspiration is 'what if artemis fowl found out he was gay and had powers'

the son of a rich man who is drawn to another world by fate where he discovers his father was only half-human all along, leading to him going through the 5 stages of grief
upon discovering his cousins all have magic powers, he decides hes going to be batman and ends up building gadgets with his untapped affinity for lightning magic
originally he's very close-minded and just wants to go back to his cozy and safe home but once he gets a taste of magic he slowly starts to open up and eventually is not sure if he even wants to go home anymore
ends up adopting an older brother attitude towards the others, being the oldest of the cousins
although he has a lot of respect for his father, upon finding out the horrible things his father & grandfather did to his extended family, he eventually starts to become jaded about his family
ANYWAYS in terms of sprite vibes, he's a haughty 20-year-old rich boy who gets easily overwhelmed by things and people he doesn't understand
falls in love with a merman

a member of a race of sea leviathans who experienced stunted growth due to living in a small land-locked pool (leading them to look somewhat like a traditional mermaid)

lacks empathy and quickly turns to violence if provoked
exclusively appears joyful like a little kid, virutally unable to experience anger or sadness
uses their expertise over water magic - able to manipulate particles in the air and turn them liquid or solid - to traverse and zip around. however, they also enjoy making others carry them

the reproduction rules of the main oc world are traditionally that two people intertwine their magic together with the blessing of Ace, the deity of life, to create offspring. but due to luna's incredible power, she was essentially made a mini her with Ace's blessing
while she originally grew up a carefree and happy-go-lucky girl, being present for her mother's death was the turning point for the light leaving her life
she inherited incredible spacetime manipulation powers from her mother, but due to her dwindling confidence after being unable to change her mother's fate she is unable to use them to their fullest
her ability and "duty" to oversee the passage of time makes her uncomfortable to stay with her loved ones - knowing she will have to keep going after they pass on - so she never returns to a time/place once shes left it
although she does not like to involve people with her worries, she can't stop the loneliness from being present on her face...
