oops! i can see why you thought this was the correct answer, but it's not! sorry!!!!

my last hint is: you're looking in the correct chapter. at least, you probably are? did you come here from chapter 25? if you somehow did not come here from chapter 25 then uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh errmmmmmmm well this is awkward ha ha

anyway! since you're close, i'll give ya a small prize. here are the summaries for the next few chapters! if you want you can come back every time a new chapter is posted to see a new summary (page last updated after chapter 27)

• chapter 28: min min arrives properly. she does masked hero-esque shenanigans. the chapter starts with host seeing shulk taking a bucket prank for lucina and they play detective to find out who did it, discovering the kids’ club. at the kids’ request, host does not tell shulk and lucina about their club in the attic. they then put the host through an initiation test to join the club. host gets help from other club members roy (honorary kid) and terry (the kids think hes so cool) to prank the newcomer min min. it works, but min min finds the secret club room and the kids think she is so cool and mistake her for a superhero and also let her join the club.


• chapter 29: steve & sephiroth chapter. it starts with steve’s arrival and the minecraft chapter gang is throwing a party for them as promised. but then sephiroth arrives and is like :) oh you threw a party for me??? you shouldn’t have :) and sephiroth takes over the rest of the chapter. we give them a tour and sonics like yo steve theres a free room right next to mine! and sephiroth is like Don’t Mind If I Do and thats why both steve and sephiroth live on each side of sonic. sephiroth throws a pool party. host hangs out for a little bit but sephiroth’s antics get overbearing so they leave and hang out with other characters. the gang plays basketball to decide once and for all the baseball results, but it ends up being older smashers vs new ones and the baseball results remain undecided


• chapter 30: pyra/mythra chapter. at the beginning, host has just finished an offscreen hangout with cloud. jigglypuff approaches host and asks if they and cloud are friends. she then invites host to her room to join the cloud strife fan club. when they leave, piranha plant is there and sees a picture of cloud in jigglypuff’s hands and instantly falls in love. host lets it slip that there is a fanclub (not realizing it’s a secret), and plant BEGS to join. after this, host goes to see other smashers and runs into master hand, who was looking for the host to get an opinion on the party. codenamed “project m” for both “masquerade” and “makeover”, he asks which theme to go with. ganondorf approaches host (having done his match recently) and is like hmhmhm… i see you placed a penalty on me... the chapter ends with host watching the match between pyra/mythra and mii gunner. the chapter ends on mythra and host meeting in person for the first time. cliffhanger.


• chapter 31: pyra/mythra scene continued. after that, kirby suddenly approaches mc and is like ^_^ do u wanna meet my friends?? kirby focus chapter. they go to kirby’s world and meet all the funny kirby friends, all of whom want to be invited to the smash party so they keep getting into fights to determine who is kirby’s BEST FRIEND. bandana dee was already invited by dedede so they’re fine. in the end, kirby gets mad that they are all fighting and is like !!!! ALL of you are my best friend!!! and then they go invite a random broom hatter. consider including dedede and meta knight in the picnic


• chapter 32: kazuya intro chapter. he comes up to the mc like “hey let me buy your mansion/property” and mc is like what??? no??? and we shoo him away so we can have fun instead. it becomes the pokemon go chapter, and also mc gets added to the smashers’ discord server


• chapter 33: master hand calls upon mc’s help to summon sora from the void. they are pulling him from after kh3’s ending because before that he’s going to want to bring his friends, and mickey mouse is the strongest person in the multiverse and master hand does NOT want to deal with him and his friends. so they open a keyhole (with mr game & watch’s help because hes a keyblade master) and pull sora out and hes like huh?? what?? almost all the smashers are there because they really wanted to know the final character. pit and roy instantly befriend sora and introduce him to pokemon go


• chapter 34: the Charity Party.
